I've been driving by Roosters Daytime Cafe for quite some time, and never stopped in...until I saw a Groupon for it. Since it's a local business, I really wanted to like it...really, I did. Alas, it was not to be. We were seated, and told that the name of our waitress, and we waited. As others have noted, they were not busy, and yet we waited and waited. I'm no expert on waiting tables, but in my short experience, I found it a very simple thing to greet my customers, even if I couldn't take their order yet. It's much easier to be patient if you know that someone knows you're waiting. No such luck for us - we wondered if we really had a wait-person...and we wondered, and waited and wondered, and waited, and finally asked the hostess if we could get water while we waited, and whether or not we truly had someone assigned to wait on our table.) Eventually another waitress (not the one ID'd previously) came and helped us. My mother ordered the quiche special, and it was like rubber. When we told them, it seemed to be a surprise, but I'm at a loss as to how they could not have noticed when they cut it. Slicing of the wedge of quiche had to have taken some sort of power tool. I'm not even sure it was real food...maybe just the plastic mold they use for photos? Am I making my point? I ordered the pancake special...and they were...(wait for it)....they were....o.k. I should be more greatful...as at least my breakfast was edible. I'm pretty sure the quiche would make a decent self-defense weapon. Between the terrible service, and the disasterous quiche....we say hello and immediately, goodbye, to the Roosters Daytime Cafe. I'm glad I had the groupon....knowing I got a little bit of a deal takes some of the sting out of the poor experience....but not enough to give it another try.

I got to try out the French Onion Soup, which was really well made with a good amount of cheese, but could have used just a little more bread. Also tried the special item on the menu, the avocado and blue cheese burger, which was erved on an English muffin, to let the burger's taste hit you better. I was pleasantly surprised, and the serving of sweet potato fries was large and cooked at just the right crispness. Service was good and the decor was eclectic and kitsch with cool rooster figurines and paintings everywhere. The atmosphere is slow and the breakfast menu seems to be extensive. What also stood out were the shops in the plaza shared with Rooster's. A pole dancing studio, an art for fun studio, as well as other interesting businesses. I think this plaza may just be a secret fun area that is waiting to be experienced!

This restaurant serves good food, well presented with employees that try to do their very best to make the experience a good one. Their breakfasts are generous as their lunch platters and sandwiches.

Really good food, very friendly staff, decently priced and specials daily. Plus they give you little baskets of coffe cake and mini muffins while you're waiting for breakfast.

How I miss the old Rooster's!!! Decided to give this place one more try after the horrible breakfast I had there 4 months ago. I arrived around 2:30pm and waited.....40 minutes for a chicken salad sandwich!!! When I told the server I was leaving, she said my sandwich was made to order???? ICK!!!! I don't want to wait for you to boil the chicken, add the mayo, and let it chill. I will not return. The staff didn't even inform me that it would be a little bit of a wait. I'm sorry to say but I don't give this place much longer. See ya!!!!

The food was DELICIOUS!!! We had brunch there - ordered the FULL order of biscuits and gravy.....amazing. They give you homemade coffee cake with your beverages. Food we had came on skillet pans - omelet and quiche. Will be back for sure!!

Rooster's Cafe. I just love this place. The atmosphere is friendly and you're made to feel like family. The breakfast and lunch menu have delicious offerings and there is always homemade soup daily. A little added extra is each table is given a basket of their freshly made crumb cake which is too die for. I've also ordered pies for special occasions and have never been disappointed. I have eaten here numerous times and will continue to do so.

Went for Saturday lunch with my wife, kids (4 and 12 months) and my mom, who was in from out of town. We waited approximately 20 min to get in and when we were seated the server came by and said she'd be back in a minute. We watched her greet 3 other tables, that came in right after we did, and proceed to take their orders before us. After a few more minutes of being ignored, and not because my kids were noises actually they're very quiet in restaurants, we got up and left.

Very creative specials. I had the blue cheese stuffed burger, and it was outstanding. Perfect medium temperature, and no skimping on the blue cheese. Fries were well seasoned, crispy, and delicious. Highly recommend for both breakfast and lunch.

I love it here! It's a little pricey, but definitely worth it! The waiters and waitresses are very helpful and kind. The food comes out quite quickly, but it is definitely homemade. Definitely try the french fries! Overall, great place to eat.

I try to convince my husband to support local Jensen Beach restaurants but our experience makes it difficult. Nevertheless, once again we tried Roosters after a half dozen hit or miss experiences. Unfortunately this was a miss. Once again there was probably three tables of customers and we waited and waited. That wouldn't be bad if the food was superb but sadly, it was not. The complimentary crumb cakes are okay -- they lack seasoning/extract or butter or something. Husband ordered biscuits and gravy which was tasty but nothing exceptional; much like any other place's. I ordered the Western Omelet and paid extra to add a few pieces of asparagus. The omelet came with pimentos which surprised me but i'm all for any extra vegetables. Nevertheless, it was spongy and dry -- not a good omelet combo. The sad part is that the vegetables and meat in the omelet were tasty -- just lost it's appeal with the heavy yellow cheese and the dryness. I couldn't finish it and gave it to husband. I didn't complain because you either know how to make an Omelet or you don't. I was tempted to ask for sour cream, salsa or something to doctor it up. I noted some tasty-sounding lunch specials on the bulletin board that seemed a bit pricey but sounded good. I don't know whether we will be back. I sort of doubt it. It's a cute little place with customers gifting them with various rooster decorations and pictures. The service is pretty good. The wait staff is friendly. Customers have the choice of sitting inside with the pretty décor and air conditioning or at one of the outside tables which is dog friendly (and in the shade). On a positive note, although it was 10:30 ish, the man next to us ordered a cheeseburger and French fries and the burger looked tasty.

The other reviews on here are pretty spot on, but I've been wanting to try this place ever since the Groupon was available the first time around ($10 for $18 worth). The menu looked good, and they had a turkey burger and sweet potato fries on the link on Groupon. No turkey burger btw, it's a chicken burger. The chicken burger was okay, it was served on an English Muffin which was actually good. It's a decent sized burger. I added provolone & bell peppers trying to mimic another burger I'd had elsewhere and that was all wrong, I scraped it off. I did not care for the sweet potato fries, they were soggy and some were not cooked all the way. Bummer. My husband had scrambled eggs, home fries, toast, and a waffle. It looked good. He rated it as okay. As far as the food goes, it was just okay, it was food to eat for a meal and nothing spectacular. The crumb cake that they give you while you wait was a nice touch and it wasn't bad. We had really good customer service from start to finish. There was one other table already eating when we got there and one that got there roughly when we did. I did wonder for a minute as to who our waitress was, but we were looked after well by all staff. The other table got their food first. The waitress was even nice enough to bag us up a little piece of coffee cake to go, nice touch. This is a local business, and it has that feeling, the staff are so nice & the rooster stuff everywhere is a good theme builder. I really wanted to like this place. The Groupon made it easier to be disappointed. I was hoping that we had found a breakfast place, but I'm pretty sure that may be our only visit.
